This Privacy Policy applies to RG DEFENCE (PTY) LTD (Registration No. 2024/640529/07), trading as Rhino Guard, located at 43 Sonneblom Road, Sunward Park, Boksburg, 1459, South Africa (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are committed to protecting your personal information and respecting your privacy. This Policy is aligned with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

When you place an order, request a quotation or invoice, contact us, send us a WhatsApp message, visit us in person, or interact with our website, we may collect:

  • Payment details reasonably necessary to process or reconcile payment, including proof of payment where applicable
  • Order history, quotation records, invoice records, and communication records
  • Customs, shipping, and clearance information reasonably required to fulfil international orders
  • Basic device and usage data (e.g. IP address, browser type, cookies – see Section 6)

Where website payments are made through Yoco, payment details are processed securely by Yoco and we do not store full card details.

We do not offer public user account registration. Data is collected per order, enquiry, quotation, invoice, or interaction.

  • our bank or payment service providers, where reasonably necessary to process, reconcile, verify, or refund payments
  • The Courier Guy and Aramex (delivery and logistics services)
  • customs brokers, customs clearance agents, and fulfilment/logistics partners
  • website hosting, backup, security, and email service providers
  • customs, revenue, regulatory, law enforcement, or other governmental authorities where disclosure is reasonably necessary for shipping, customs clearance, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or protection of our rights

All such parties act as operators/processors or service providers and are required, where applicable, to protect your information.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

4. WooCommerce Specifics

WooCommerce stores order data, including items purchased, totals, shipping address, contact details, timestamps, and order status, to fulfil purchases, manage support, and meet legal record-keeping requirements.

Orders may also be placed outside the website, including by email, WhatsApp, invoice, or in person, in which case comparable order and communication records may be retained for fulfilment, support, reconciliation, and legal compliance.

We do not enable public customer accounts. Website orders are processed via guest checkout.

WooCommerce uses functional cookies necessary for cart and checkout operation.

5. Marketing Communications

By placing an order, requesting a quotation, or subscribing, you may receive promotional emails or newsletters where permitted by law.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails or by contacting us.

We will still send essential transactional and service-related communications, including quotations, invoices, order confirmations, payment confirmations, shipping updates, collection arrangements, and support-related messages.
